The "yadh"

To read the Torah, we use the ''yad'', which means hand, we will follow the sacred characters with this little hand, which is silver for the richest communities, silver pewter, and most of the time for our poor peasant communities , it was made of wood. This is the one that is the most precious, because there are few left, either they have been burned or devoured by woodworms.
